Note: Large halo CME first seen with the bulk to the W in STEREO A COR2. This CME is also seen in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and in GOES CCOR-1 with the bulk to the E. The source of this CME is most likely far-sided. Wide-spread opening of field lines can be seen from beyond the E limb in GOES SUVI 284 beginning around 2025-08-21T08:10Z.

CME Analysis M2M_CATALOG SH true SWPC_CAT -164.0 7.0 1375.0 O 66.0 2025-08-21T11:03Z Shock measurement encompassing the outermost leading edge of the halo; width greater than 60 degrees required to fit the entire shape in all coronagraphs, but as the width was increased beyond conventional halo widths (45-to 55), the lemniscate began to fit the CME more skillfully. 1: Result 1 (2.0 AU)
